Capers Island Sunset

15lb Redfish!

Charter Prices

Fish Call Charters offers charters ranging from 4 to 8 hours. The prices below are good for up to 2 anglers and include all tackle, bait, ice, and fishing licenses. Additional anglers can be added for an extra $50 per angler. Fish Call Charters can also arrange several boat group trips for business meetings, etc. There will be a 10% booking charge when 4 or more boats are needed. We offer Harbor Tours for $100 per hour for up to 4 people (2hr minimum). In the summer (May-Oct) I also offer what I call a "short trip". This is a $300 3hr trip for bonnethead sharks (older kids 6-96) or for pan-sized fish (younger kids 3-8). This is great for kids. All the client needs to bring is whatever they want to eat and drink (no bottles please) as well as a good attitude for an enjoyable day on the water. I also recommend polarized sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and rain gear. The Captain is normally tipped 15-20% of the charter cost if the clients have enjoyed themselves.

up to 2 anglers (additional anglers add $50 each)
most popular trips>
4-hour half-day charter  = $400
6-hour full-day charter  = $550
3-hour short trip charter (May-Oct only)  = $300
8-hour extra long charter  = $750
Tarpon Only Charter  = $700 (June-Oct) This is for those who really want to catch the SIVER KING. This is a 6-8 hour trip depending on where we fish. We can target tarpon on any of the other trips but this is your best bet for tarpon in South Carolina.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

Deposits will be taken by credit card (MC/VISA) or personal check. Fish Call Charters will ask for a 50% deposit for all clients booking fishing trips. Credit cards will not be charged unless a cancellation occurs. If deposit is made by personal check, then the amount will be subtracted from the fee at the time of the charter. If held by credit card, then the client can pay by credit card, check, or cash on day of charter. The credit price is $20 more per trip than the cash/check price.

If the client cancels more than 7 days in advance, there will be no penalty, and all of the deposit will be refunded. If the client cancels within 7 days of the charter, FCC will retain the deposit (if made by personal check) or will charge the clients' credit card 50% of the cost of the charter booked. If the client cancels within 24 hours of the charter or does not show up, the clients' credit card will be charged the full price of the booked charter. Weather cancelations are on the discretion of the captain. If it is raining hard or lightning is present, then the choice is the clients. If it only looks like rain, then the captain will decide.

Other Policies

Not too many other polices but here they go> We ask that you not bring bottles on the boat. Please wear shoes with none marking soles (white soles are best). Many of today's running shoes will scuff up the boat. Kids of all ages are welcome, but they count as an additional person no matter the age. You may keep a fish or two for dinner, but you must clean your own catch. I will help out the "fish cleaning impaired." I am a strong proponent of catch & release fishing, but I also enjoy eating fresh fish so my policy is CCC, "You Catch It, You Clean It, You Cook It." Of course, any fish kept must within State and Federal limits. For redfish, you are allowed 3 fish per day between 15-23". All trout, flounder, black drum, and spanish mackerel must be 13" or larger. Redfish are extrememly territorial so when you start taking fish out of an area, it may take many many years to replace them.

Directions

The "FISH CALL" is kept on a jetdock at the Isle of Palms Marina, and unless we specify otherwise, all charters will leave from the Isle of Palms Marina. The Marina is located at 50 41st Ave, Isle of Palms, SC 29451. Try MapQuest below for driving directions. My slip is on the left next to the Fuel Dock. When you pull into the Marina, there will be a convience store (Marina Market) in front of you. Pull to the right of the store and park in the 15 minute parking. Your car will now be facing my boat. Just walk down on the dock to meet me, and I'll give you a parking pass and show you where to park. Your parking fee is included in the charter costs so please wait for me to give you a pass. Please arrive about 10 minutes before our arranged charter time. The Marina Market is a fully stocked convience store with any food or drink you might need for our trip.
